Returns Policy

We hope that you are delighted with your purchases, however we understand that occasionally you may need to cancel or return an item.

Before returning any goods please read our Terms and Conditions.

In the case of any return of goods which are not faulty, the returned goods must be unused, in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing, as well as any documentation. Any evidence of fitting, attempted fitting or other usage will lead us to refuse to accept the return of the relevant goods.

You must inform us of any return requests within 7 working days of receipt of the ordered goods, where you are seeking to return goods in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations (the so called "cooling-off period", as more particularly set out in our Terms and Conditions).

Before returning your item(s) login to the site to obtain a Returns Authorisation.

To request a Returns Authorisation please go to My Account and follow the steps detailed.

Please note that if you are seeking to return any goods outside of the 7 working day "cooling-off period" then we will always need to contact you to discuss the matter before any Returns Authorisation can be issued. 

In circumstances where your return is authorised, and a Returns Authorisation is issued, an acknowledgement will be emailed to the address used on your original order that will contain the return postal address for your order.

Any goods returned without a valid Returns Authorisation will be refused. Please ensure that the Returns Authorisation is also clearly noted on the outside of the returned package.

Please return your item(s) with its original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must also include a copy of your Returns Authorisation form in with your item(s), failure to do so will delay your refund.

You, the customer, shall be responsible for all postage costs for goods returned to us, unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance by us.

Car Parts Genie will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit. Please ensure that insurance cover is taken where possible.

All returns must be received at the nominated return address within 7 days of you receiving the Returns Authorisation.
